Hampstead Towne Centre - Ground breaking took place on May 29, 2008 for the proposed new Lowes Grocery Store, Shopping Centre and Medical Building on Route 17 in front of Olde Point. Construction will start soon with an end date of Spring, 2009. We have been assured by the developers that every consideration will be given to Olde Point residents. At the end of construction, the developers will landscape our area again, put in new permanent curbing and replace the old monument with a new one as shown here.
