PROPERTY CLOSINGS
The law firm representing the buyer of property within OPPOA should contact OPPOA Membership Chairperson June Steiert to determine if all mandatory dues have been paid in full by the seller prior to closing. This information is available from her by EMAIL, or through telephone contact at 270-3214. Email is preferred for the quickest response.
The buyer of property is also responsible for a $100.00 administrative fee that is used to defray expenses related to record updates and to cover the cost of informational materials provided to new owners.
At the time of sale, the OPPOA Membership chairperson is to be provided with the names and addresses of both the buyers and the sellers. In the case of non-residents purchasing property, the telephone numbers of the non-residents are also needed. Further OPPOA requests that buyers acknowledge that they have received a copy of the Restrictive Covenants, which are available HERE.
Fees and other requested documents should be mailed to:
- OPPOA
- P.O. Box 202
- Hampstead, N.C. 28443
